Zrce Festival Beach 2026: Everything That's Changing
2026 brings the biggest changes Zrce Beach has seen since it became a party hotspot. Following the demolition of NOA Beach Club and several other structures in February, the famous beach faces a complete restart. But instead of mourning, the scene is fighting back — with new clubs, fresh concepts, and an energy that's contagious.
What Was Demolished?
In February 2026, Croatia's State Inspectorate ordered the demolition of 124 structures. Those affected included:
NOA Beach Club — the DJ Mag Top 10 club, Zrce's flagship since 2011
Rocks Club — famous for its unique cliff-side setting
Backstage Club — the popular afterhours location
Noa Glamping Resort — luxury camping right on the beach
The change is visible: where wooden platforms once floated above the water, there is now an unobstructed view of the Adriatic. But that is exactly what opens up new possibilities.
New Clubs and Openings
The gap left by NOA won't last long. Several new projects are already underway:
Euphoria Beach Club — The brand-new club opens in May 2026 and promises a modern clubbing experience with sustainable architecture. The concept focuses on open spaces, natural materials, and a next-generation sound system.
LIFT Beach Club — After extensive renovations, LIFT presents a completely new design. New stage technology, expanded VIP areas, and an improved food and beverage concept aim to set new standards.

The Classics Are Upgrading
The established clubs are also investing heavily in the 2026 season:
Kalypso is getting a completely new pool party area. The oldest club on Zrce (since 1987!) is combining its legendary history with a modern daytime experience. Pool parties with international DJs — that's something Zrce hasn't seen before.
Aquarius is planning a grand reopening in June 2026. The club that ranked among the world's best in the 2000s is returning with a fresh concept and new interior design.
Papaya kicks off the season as early as May 12, 2026. As one of the most consistent clubs on Zrce, Papaya remains the rock in the surf — with an expanded program and new collaborations.
Nearly 1,000 DJs in One Season
Despite the changes — or perhaps because of them — the clubs are collectively planning with nearly 1,000 DJs for the 2026 season. From international headliners to emerging talents, the musical diversity on Zrce will be greater than ever before.
The festivals are also adapting. Find out which events are taking place in 2026 on our festivals overview.
A New Beach Experience
The demolition of the illegal structures has a positive side: Zrce Beach is becoming more open again. The beach promenade is being redesigned, there will be more public space, and the natural beauty of the bay is shining through once more.
For visitors, this means: more room to relax during the day, better access to the water, and an overall enhanced beach experience. If you're looking for accommodation near the beach, check out our accommodation page.
Conclusion: Zrce Lives — More Than Ever
Yes, losing NOA hurts. Yes, the changes are massive. But Zrce Beach has proven time and again throughout its history that it can reinvent itself. The mix of new clubs like Euphoria and LIFT, upgraded classics like Kalypso, Aquarius, and Papaya, and a completely redesigned beach area makes the 2026 season one of the most exciting ever.
Zrce Beach isn't at the end — it's at the beginning of something new.
