Is Zrce Beach dangerous?
No, Zrce Beach is considered a very safe travel destination. Croatia is one of the safest countries in Europe, and the clubs at Zrce Beach invest a lot in the safety of their guests. Professional security personnel are stationed at every entrance, and the police regularly patrol the entire area.
Additionally, surveillance cameras are installed in many places. The club operators work closely with local authorities to ensure a smooth operation.
So you can enjoy your stay worry-free, here are some tips:
- Keep valuables in the hotel safe – only take what you need
- Drink enough water, especially in heat and during long party nights
- Stay in a group and share your location with friends
- Use official taxis or shuttle buses for the return trip
- Be mindful of your drinks and do not leave them unattended
At what age can you enter the clubs at Zrce Beach?
The minimum age for entry into the clubs at Zrce Beach is 18 years. A valid photo ID is generally required at the door – so be sure to bring your ID card or passport.
At some selected events and festivals, entry may be possible from the age of 16 when accompanied by a legal guardian. However, this is the exception and is always communicated in advance by the organizer. When in doubt: No ID, no entry.
Tip: Make a copy of your ID and keep it separate from the original. If you lose your ID, at least you have a backup copy with you.
Is cash needed at Zrce Beach?
Since Croatia introduced the Euro in January 2023, paying at Zrce Beach has become particularly easy. You no longer need to exchange money – the Euro is the official currency.
Card payments are accepted in most clubs, bars, and restaurants at Zrce Beach. Visa and Mastercard work practically everywhere. Contactless payments via smartphone (Apple Pay, Google Pay) are also widespread.
Nevertheless, we recommend always having some cash on hand – for example, for:
- Small purchases at beach stands or kiosks
