Is travel insurance worth it for the Zrce trip?

Yes, definitely recommended! The following insurances are sensible:

  • Trip cancellation insurance: Protects you in case you have to cancel the trip at short notice
  • Foreign health insurance: Covers costs that exceed the EHIC benefits (e.g., repatriation)

EU citizens do have basic coverage with the EHIC card, but a private foreign health insurance covers significantly more – for example, medical repatriation, dental treatments, or elective services in hospitals.
