The Plitvice Lakes National Park is the oldest and largest national park in Croatia, located about 2.5 hours by car from Novalja. It is one of the most famous attractions in the country and attracts visitors from all over the world every year.
The Plitvice Lakes are famous for their turquoise lakes, countless waterfalls, and breathtaking landscapes. Film fans also know the park: parts of the legendary Winnetou films were shot here in the 1960s.
